As-salamu Aalaikum.

It is a great pleasure for me to welcome to these pages all present, past and prospective students of East West University, along with their guardians, teachers of the University and other officers and employees, and also casual browsers. I hope they will find much information that will be useful, interesting, and convincing - showing that East West is indeed one of the best places of higher education in this country, and is striving to reach even greater heights.

The raison d'etre of this institution is to provide education of the highest quality possible here -- education that not only prepares the students for fulfilling careers, with appropriate knowledge and skills demanded by contemporary job market configurations, but also for leadership in their areas of work and  in society as a whole, by enriching their sense of values.  University education is the consummation of a long period of formal learning, but we hope that our graduates will continue to learn throughout their life to conform themselves to ever increasing ramifications of science and technology and to sociocultural evolution not confronting rationally accepted norms and traditions of this country,  with the inculcation, inspiration and motivation they receive here. We promise to take the greatest care in treating each student individually, so that the best may come out of her or him - as a knowledgeable and skilled person, and also as an enlightened human being. We shall continually upgrade our pedagogy to utilize most fruitfully modern effectual methods, using latest IT and other developing relevant technologies, as well as research results pertaining to effective education at this stage.

 

But life is not only work, and though during these precious years students will need peer interaction at a more mature level than their carefree school years, we hope they will enjoy  participating in the vast assortment  of extra and co-curricular activities which are being offered here,  more being planned for the future. Learning becomes more fun and stimulating when the ambiance is attractive, and we plan to shift very soon to our beautiful new site in Aftabnagar, which will make East West the proud owner of one of the best designed campuses in this country.

 

Learning is an interactive process. In any educational institution, both the teacher and the taught learn a bit from each other. We never mind constructive suggestions from any well-wisher.
