ACCA Accredited Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting of East West University
The Department of Business Administration of East West University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ACCA on 08 September 2022. Accounting Discipline of East West University has been cooperating with ACCA Global for about two years to get the curriculum accredited by ACCA Global. After a rigorous process of evaluation covering the curriculum, teaching-learning and assessment methods, ACCA Global is being persuaded resulting the issuance of the accreditation certificate recognizing BBA in Accounting of East West University for five years (2024-2028). East West University graduates in Accounting will get waivers of six papers out of thirteen papers (46.15%) to become a member of ACCA which opens the door of accounting graduates in global market.
It is important to note that BBA in Accounting of East West University received similar recognition from professional bodies of Bangladesh (e.g., The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh, The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh, Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh, and Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market) as well.
