A research project titled “The Role of Digital Literacy and Culture-Specific Communication Skills Among Expatriate Bangladeshi Domestic Workers,” funded by the East West University Center for Research and Training (CRTEWU), is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant.

Research Assistant: 

Details of the position are given below:

 Key responsibilities 
  1. Conduct a comprehensive literature review
  2. Write and compile literature summaries
  3. Record interviews from various districts
  4. Prepare verbatim transcripts of interviews
  5. Perform qualitative thematic analysis of collected data
  6. Document and present research findings
Qualification 
  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Humanities or a related field (applicants from other disciplines may also apply)
  2. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  3. Experience in qualitative research methods is a plus
  4. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bangla
Job Type 
- Full-time, Research-oriented
Duration 
- 06 months (with the possibility of extension, depending on funding availability)
Salary 
- BDT 20,000/= (consolidated per month)
