DR. DILARA BEGUM PARTICIPATED AT AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AS AN INVITED SPEAKER
Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Information Studies, East West University participated at the 5th A-ICONICS (Adab-International Conference on Information and Cultural Sciences) as an Invited Speaker. The conference was organized by Kırıkkale University Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Turkiye; Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, Azerbaijan; Fakultas Adab dan Ilmu Budaya UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia; Kırıkkale University Islamic Countries Application and Research Center, Turkiye and Moral Values Promotion Foundation, Azerbaijan from 28-30 May 2024.
She presented on the topic titled “The Practice of Coexistence in Library & Information Science (LIS)”. In her speech she emphasized the concept of coexistence in LIS, importance of practice of Coexistence in LIS required, elements for practicing coexistence in LIS etc. She highlighted the role of IFLA in promoting the practice of coexistence in LIS. She also mentioned about the practice of coexistence at East West University.
