East West University Faculty Member Shines at International Cybersecurity Training in Indonesia!
We are proud to announce that Dr. Shamim H Ripon, Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, recently represented East West University at the Cybersecurity Awareness & Risk Management – Train the Trainer (TTT) Program held at Universitas Indonesia, Depok Campus. The program was organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in collaboration with Universitas Indonesia.
Only seven participants were selected from top Bangladeshi universities, and we are honored that East West University was among them. The training covered critical areas such as:
🔹 Cybersecurity awareness for top management
🔹 Awareness strategies for general employees
🔹 Risk management in the supply chain
We are delighted to share that Dr. Ripon received an award for achieving the highest marks in the assessments conducted during the program. 🏅
During the training, participants also had the opportunity to engage with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Indonesia and discussed future academic collaborations between Bangladeshi and Indonesian universities.
