EWU Students Clinch Gold at 8th World Innovation Competition and Exhibition; Set for International Stage in Malaysia
A team of brilliant minds from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at East West University (EWU) has achieved a monumental milestone by winning the Gold Medal at the 8th World Innovation Competition and Exhibition (WICE) held on May 9, 2026.
The prestigious award recognizes the team’s outstanding contribution to innovation and technical excellence. Following this remarkable success at the national level, the team, led by Md. Aminullah and team member Raihana Islam Momi is now preparing to represent both the university and the nation at the upcoming International Stage of the competition, scheduled to be held in Malaysia.
The EEE department continues to provide a platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges, resulting in global recognition.
