Md Rezwan Siddiqui Presented Paper at the WCRP Open Science Conference, and Participated in Early and Mid-Career Researcher Symposium (EMCR)
Md Rezwan Siddiqui, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Relations, East West University was invited to present his paper on “Examining participation in climate decision-making: myth and reality” at the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) Open Science Conference. The conference took place between 22 – 28 October 2023 at Kigali, Rwanda. This once-in-a-decade conference brought together the climate, environment, and related communities to discuss the latest developments in climate science and explore the transformative actions urgently needed to ensure a sustainable future. Mr. Siddiqui was also invited to participate in the Early and Mid-Career Researcher Symposium (EMCR) that took place alongside the conference. He received generous grant from Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN) through World Meteorological Organization (WMO) to attend the event.
