Md Rezwan Siddiqui was invited as a Speaker at the Expert Symposium on Ecosystem-based Adaptation by the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and the Chinese Academy of Science.
Md Rezwan Siddiqui, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Relations, East West University was invited at the Expert Symposium on Ecosystem-based Adaptation, held from December 17-19, 2019 in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China. The symposium is jointly organized by the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and the Chengdu Institute of Biology (CIB), Chinese Academy of Science.
The symposium was aimed to bring together national and international experts and professionals from the Hindu Kush Himalayan region in order to discuss and identify major opportunities and challenges in implementing of Ecosystem based Approach across the region.
Mr Siddiqui presented his research paper titled “Public Participation in Ecosystem-Based Adaptation: Myth and reality”. His presentation was highly appreciated by the participants.
