Professor Dr. Dilara Begum attended an international conference in France
Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson of the Department of Information Studies, East West University, was invited as a speaker at the 18th International Conference on Webometrics, Informetrics, and Scientometrics (WIS), held at Strasbourg University, France, from December 12 to 14, 2024. Her invited talk was titled "Use and Abuse of Gen AI: A Holistic Approach Towards Gen AI's Implications in Developing Countries' Academic Areas." Dr. Dilara shared the implications of the GEN AI from developing countries perspective particularly Bangladesh. She also focused on the uses and abuses of GEN AI in academic areas and proposed a holistic approach on how to adopt AI in academic areas.
