East West University (EWU), a leading private university and an equal opportunity employer of Bangladesh, is looking for individuals with excellent academic qualifications and proven track record of educational administrator. The Vice Chancellor, who is the academic head and the Chief Executive Officer, will be working under the supervision of the EWU Board of Trustees. He will be supported by a Pro-Vice Chancellor who will, under delegation by and direct supervision of the Vice Chancellor, provide leadership in initiating, formulating and overseeing administrative affairs. The prospective candidate must have an ability and inclination to lead from the front at promising junctures as EWU is set to enter the phase of academic excellence to prepare our students to meet the challenges of 4^th Industrial Revolution, infrastructure expansion and administrative management.

Eligibility: A post graduate degree in first class or equivalent, a PhD from a well-recognized university, published research work in Scopus-indexed journals, at least ten years of university teaching as a professor and a total of twenty years’ experience in teaching, research, educational administration and management. The candidate may not ordinarily be above 60 years of age on 25 November 2026 Age limit may be relaxed in the case of exceptionally qualified candidates. No third division / class please.

Compensation: EWU offers a very attractive compensation package which is negotiable for an outstanding candidate. In addition to a generous salary (tax deductible at source) the VC is entitled to full-time free transport, house rent, insurance coverage, provident fund, medical allowance, liberal leave entitlements and their encashment as well as a gratuity benefit.
