Position: Assistant Manager Procurement for Fresh Produce (Fish, Meat,
Fruits)
Job Nature: Full time (Permanent) Dhaka
Job Context : Seeking a highly skilled and experienced retail Buying Lead to oversee the
supply chain operations for fresh produce, including fish, meat, and fruits. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, from sourcing and
procurement to logistics and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
2.Source and onboard suppliers of fresh fish, meat, and fruits, ensuring quality and compliance
with regulations.
3.Cash withdrawal and Ensure vendor/ Suppliers payment
4.Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing waste.
5.Coordinate with production, sales, and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
6.Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
7.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and logistics partners.
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards throughout the supply chain.
8.Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related
field.
2.Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the fresh
produce industry.
3.Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory
management, and distribution.
4.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5.Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams.
6.Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards.
