Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Sales (Banking & Financial Services)

Job Context:

SSL Wireless, a leader in software, digital transformation, and financial technology services in Bangladesh, is expanding its Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) business unit. We are looking for a performance-driven, industry-aware, and technology-forward Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager to drive software & services sales, build strategic relationships, and introduce innovative concepts to the Bangladesh BFSI market.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Sales & Revenue Delivery:
  • Drive end-to-end enterprise sales for software, digital platforms, and IT-enabled services across banks, NBFIs, and insurance companies.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for software licenses, managed services, digital solutions, and subscription-based offerings.
  • Grow and manage a robust sales pipeline while ensuring consistent conversion through structured follow-up and strategic engagement.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue.
  1. Client Engagement & Industry Advisory:
  • Maintain strong understanding of client business models, operational processes, and technology environments.
  • Advise clients on process optimization, digital transformation, automation, and emerging technology adoption.
  • Conduct solution presentations, demos, and workshops customized to BFSI requirements.
  1. Market Awareness & Concept Development (New Requirement):
  • Continuously monitor global and local BFSI trends, regulatory updates, digital banking shifts, and technology advancements.
  • Proactively introduce new ideas, solution concepts, and market-driven service offerings to clients and internal product teams.
  • Identify industry gaps and advise R&D/product engineering on potential new solutions for competitive differentiation.
  1. Proposal, Solutioning & Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Lead development of proposals, commercial offers, and RFP responses for software products and custom solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, product development, project managers, and finance teams to ensure accurate scoping and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Provide structured feedback to improve product-market fit and solution design.
  1. AI-Enhanced Sales Operations:
  • Use AI tools and CRM intelligence to analyze customer behavior, predict sales opportunities, and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Apply AI-driven research to create data-backed proposals, competitor benchmarking, and strategic sales approaches.
  1. Market & Competitor Intelligence:
  • Conduct continuous market analysis to understand competitive offerings, pricing models, and industry transformation trends.
  • Recommend new go-to-market strategies and solution positioning based on insights from client behavior and market movements.
  1. Team Contribution & Leadership:
  • Mentor junior team members on client communication, product knowledge, and solution positioning.
  • Support leadership in optimizing sales structure, refining processes, and elevating sales excellence across the team.

KSAOs that You Will Require to Succeed in this Role:

Technical & Domain Skills:

  • Strong understanding of BFSI operations: digital banking, payments, switching, compliance, process automation, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.
  • Ability to translate client needs into solution architecture and value propositions.
  • Awareness of emerging FinTech, InsurTech, Open Banking, and digital transformation trends.

Sales & Relationship Management:

  • Excellent consultative selling skills with the ability to manage CXO-level relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and closing capability for software and service-based deals.
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise sales cycles and high-value accounts.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Strategic thinking with a market-driven, innovation-oriented mindset.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and analytical capabilities (Bangla & English).
  • Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and AI-based sales tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results.
Your Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or relevant field; MBA preferred.
  • 4–7 years of experience in BFSI solution sales, enterprise software sales, or large-scale B2B technology sales.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving monthly/annual targets and managing key BFSI accounts.
  • Experience with FinTech, payment solutions, switching, ERP, or digital platforms is an added advantage.
