Requirements



  • ● Education: Completion of University Degree (bachelor's or equivalent) is required.
  • ● Education in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Management or any relevant field is preferable.
  • ● Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience in areas related to Data, Information Technology or in any related field.
  • ● Language: Fluency in spoken and written both in English and Bangla language.
Responsibilities


  • ● Collect and clean data from primary or secondary sources to ensure the accuracy and reliability of databases and data systems in alignment with established guidelines, standards and processes.
  • ● Develop reports, dashboards or other data visualization tools to effectively summarize findings and convey information to inform decision making
  • ● Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements, aligning data analysis outputs with operational decision-making processes.
  • ● Ensure compliance with WFP’s data governance, privacy, and security policies, safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining ethical standards in data usage.
  • ● Guide end users on data policies, processes, and systems with the support of senior colleagues, to ensure they are correctly applied and optimally used.
  • ● Provide feedback to system sponsors for continuous improvements to data quality, system performance, and adherence to standards.
  • ● Identify, analyze, and interpret data using standard data tools, statistical methods or basic machine learning techniques to inform reliable data-driven models.
  • ● Contribute to the development and utilization of data quality monitoring tools to improve accuracy and consistency in data management.
  • ● Contribute to the design and delivery of training and capacity development initiatives to strengthen effective data management practices, using dashboards, systems and tools.
  • ● Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on tools and best practices in data analysis contributing to the delivery of solutions.
  • ● Perform deployments of data software and/or license acquisition, including testing and the identification of problems, to contribute to the effective functioning of technology.
  • ● Follow set emergency response processes and procedures as required to provide support in enabling emergency food assistance needs to be met.
  • ● Perform task as assigned.
