JOB PURPOSE

Conduct fish farmer survey and actively seek out sales opportunities to ensure timely sale of fisheries products as per weekly, monthly and yearly targets. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct farmer survey to evaluate their needs and identify selling possibilities.
  • Actively seek out sales opportunities by exploring new markets, conducting planned sales calls and networking among the related stakeholders.
  • Deliver appropriate message on products and services to the customers to generate demand. 
  • Visit clients, listen to their opinion/ complaints, identify problem and provide appropriate solution.
  • Build strong relationship with clients to ensure sustained sales year after year.
  • Prepare different reports (daily, Monthly, yearly) on sales performance and timely reporting to supervisor.
  • Conduct market survey and data collection, analyze competitors’ price and sales policy and submit these reports to supervisor as and when required.
  • Conduct product campaign, fish farmer workshop, dealer engagement program
  • Report to the line mangement on any unusual/ unexpected results and any other special market observation/ information with proper explanation.  

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The candidate should have Graduate/ Masters in Marketing/ Fisheries or any discipline with minimum 2nd class/ division or CGPA or equivalent result in all academic examinations

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

At least 01 year
