Maheen Islam received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1998 and 1999, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Wireless Mesh Networking from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka, in 2017. She is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, East West University, Bangladesh. Her current research interests include Wireless Mesh Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, Cognitive Radio Networks, and Software Defined Networks. She is a member of the Green Networking Research Group (GNR), IEEE. BWIT.
