- B.Sc. Engg. in CSE, BUET
Mostofa Rafid Uddin completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and has been working as a lecturer in the Department of CSE at East West University since January 2019. During his undergraduate, he achieved a lot of national and international awards apart from University merit scholarships, Dean's list scholarship, etc. for excellent academic results. He also has experience working in nationwide projects by ICT division and his works have also received notable funds from the ICT division of Bangladesh. His research works are broadly related to Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, where he applies and develops state-of-the-art Machine Learning methods to better understand and solve the problems of molecular biology and precision medicine. His work 'SAINT' is regarded as one of the most accurate and fast protein structure predictors from sequence data and is published from Oxford University Press. His long term research goals lie in modeling drug response and computationally efficient drug design and discovery.
