Dr. Sufia Islam is currently working as a Professor at the Department of Pharmacy, East West University, Bangladesh. She has teaching and research experience in diversified sectors at prestigious national and international institutions. Her major areas of research include experimental animal models of dehydration and sepsis; clinical and laboratory characteristics of sepsis; microcirculatory research; common respiratory pathogens and their antibiotic susceptibility etc. She has published 85 research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals and conference proceedings.
