Career Clinic: One Step Closer to Your Destination

East West University Business Club (EWUBC) had organized "Career Clinic 2022 Powered by ShareTrip", one of its flagship events, exclusively for the students of East West University to develop an individual's competencies in terms of educational and occupational exploration, and career planning. EWUBC had collaborated with more than 20 companies from 9 Industries this year to make this event a grand affair. Throughout the event, the participants got to have a wide range of exposure to the actual corporate recruitment, and not only the event helped them to understand how to go ahead in their career, but also help them to learn about how to plan for the right career goals to meet, attending each of the rounds, which consisted of workshops, panel discussion, and Mock Interview.
The event had two workshops. First one was on 24th October about CV writing and its tips and tricks which was administered by Abu Yusuf Md Rashedul Amin, General Manager, Employer Branding, from the largest Mobile Financial Service of the country, Bkash. Second workshop on Industry Overview was held on 26th of October where the keynote speaker was GM Kamrul Hassan, former CEO of Igloo and Sindabad.com.
Following the session on the same day, a Panel Discussion session was facilitated by Dr. MD Abdul Momen, Associate Professor of East West University. The topic of discussion revolved around possible questions about changes in the corporate sector, adapting to ever-changing industries, and the importance of extracurricular activities that students might have. The event stepped to its final round on 29th October with the most interesting and engaging part of the event, The Mock Interview round, where students got to meet Senior HR personnel from different industries, and all of the participants were provided with the necessary set of guidelines by them.
