The East West University Environmental & Social Club has organized an eco-friendly fair named 'Eco Fair 3.0'.

The East West University Environmental & Social Club organized an eco-friendly event named "Eco Fair 3.0." Held over two days, from May 19 to May 20, 2024, the fair provided a platform for entrepreneurs from various parts of Dhaka, including student entrepreneurs from East West University, to showcase their talents through eco-friendly products.
The event was inaugurated at 10 a.m. on May 19, 2024, by the Vice Chancellor of East West University, Professor Dr. Shams Rahman. The Treasurer of East West University, Air Cdre (Retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, also attended. Following the inaugural ceremony, they visited the stalls, appreciating the commitment to eco-friendly living. They also launched the "Green Corner," an initiative encouraging students to plant trees and cultivate honesty.
The fair featured 19 stalls with the participation of nearly 95 individuals. Notably, two renowned college clubs, BAF Shaheen College Dhaka Green Thumbs and Dhaka Residential Model College Science Club, presented eco-friendly projects on "Planet V/S Plastic."
The primary aim of the fair was to encourage university students to adopt eco-friendly products to help protect the environment. The substantial support from club moderators Md. Rezwan Siddiqui, Nishat Anjum Bini, and Abdullah Al Sayed greatly enhanced the fair's atmosphere.
