East West University Observed 51st Independence Day

East West University (EWU) observed the 51st Independence Day of Bangladesh with due dignity and respect. To commemorate this historic Independence Day, EWU arranged a program of the hoisting of the national flag at 05.57 a.m. on Saturday, 26 March 2022 at the EWU Campus, Aftabnagar, Dhaka. The national flag was hoisted by Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Founder President of Board of Directors, Chief Adviser and Founder Vice Chancellor of EWU while the University flag was hoisted by Professor Dr. M. M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor of EWU. On this occasion, a prayer was offered for peace, security, and prosperity of the country. After the prayer, a short speech was given by Professor Dr. Farashuddin. He reminded the young that our independence has not come easily and he also urged us to work for the harmony, unity, and solidarity of the country.
Deans of different faculties, Chairpersons of various departments, faculty members, Registrar, administrative officials and students from the university participated in this event.
