EWU-CRT Arranges a Research Seminar

East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) organized an online research seminar titled “Understanding coping strategies among young adults during COVID 19 in Dhaka city: through a resilience and social capital lens” held on 07 January 2021, Thursday at 8:00PM on google meet app. The presenters of the seminar were Dr. Mumita Tanjeela, Assistant Professor & Chairperson, Department of Sociology, East WU, Mr. Masum Billah, Senior Lecturer, Department of Sociology, EWU, and Dr. Shannon Rutherford, Senior Lecturer, School of Medicine, Faculty of Griffith Health Schools, Griffith University, Australia. The seminar was conducted by Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury, Member, Board of Trustees, EWU and Chairperson, EWUCRT.
The key discussants of the seminar was Professor Dr. Anup Chowdhury, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, EWU, Dr. A. K. Enamul Haque Professor, Department of Economics, EWU and Dr. Mohammad Bellal Hossain, Professor, Department of Population Sciences, University of Dhaka.
The seminar was attended by Nowshad Shamsul Arefin, Member, Board of Trustees, EWU, Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro-Vice Chancellor, EWU, Professor Dr. Muhammed Shahriar Haque, Executive Director, EWUCRT, among others. Distinguish faculty members from various departments of the university were also present.
