EWUCRT Arranges A Knowledge Sharing Seminar

The East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) organized a seminar titled "Research and Innovation Opportunities of RIC (Research and Innovation Center)" on March 27, 2024, at the S. M. Nousher Ali Lecturer Gallery. The seminar provided a platform for faculty members, researchers, and students to explore the resources and support offered by the RIC. It likely featured presentations on the RIC's areas of focus, funding opportunities, and guidance on conducting impactful research projects.
Mr. Rusafi Alam, Project Manager of the EDGE (Enhancing Digital Government & Economy) Project, ICT Division of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, funded by the World Bank, was the keynote speaker of the seminar. He encouraged the faculty members of East West University (EWU) to carry out unique research that will benefit the country, and the EDGE project would provide the funds. Professor Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor of EWU, was present at the seminar as the Chief Guest and emphasized the university's commitment to fostering a vibrant research culture. In his speech, Professor Rahman encouraged faculty members to seize the opportunity and conduct research to utilize the EDGE project's funding. He also thanked the government for including private universities, such as EWU, in implementing the research project.
Prof. Dr. Muhammed Shahriar Haque, Executive Director of EWUCRT, conducted the seminar, and Dr. Md. Sohel Rana, Deputy Executive Director of EWUCRT, was also present on the occasion. A large number of EWU faculty members participated in the seminar.
