EWUCRT Organized a Research Webinar

East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) organized a Research Seminar titled "Identification and characterization of MDR, XDR and PDR bacteria from clinical samples”. The online seminar (webinar) was held on 13 August 2020 on Google Meet app. The research paper presenters of the seminar were Dr. Md. Mohiuddin Kabir, Associate Professor, Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, East West University (EWU), Dr. Chowdhury Faiz Hossain, Professor, Department of Pharmacy, EWU, Dr. AMAM Zonaed Siddiki, Professor, Department of Pathology and Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, and Zinat Farzana, Lecturer, Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, EWU. Among them, Dr. Md. Mohiuddin Kabir, Associate Professor, Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, EWU and Zinat Farzana, Lecturer, Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, EWU, were presented on the webinar.
Dr. Zahid Hayat Mahmud, Scientist and Head Laboratory of Environmental Health Laboratory Sciences and Services Division, icddr,b was the main discussant of the seminar. This seminar was conducted by Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury, Chairperson, EWUCRT. After the formal presentation, a lively question and answering session also held on the occasion.
Professor Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro-Vice Chancellor, EWU, and Professor Dr. Muhammed Shahriar Haque, Executive Director, EWUCRT, also attended the webinar. More than one hundred faculty members and students of EWU participated in this online seminar.
