Fresher’s Orientation Program held at EWU for the Spring Semester 2021

The orientation program for the newly admitted students for the Spring Semester 2021 of East West University (EWU) held on the Zoom platform on Saturday, 20 February 2021. Nearly 900 students were admitted to graduate and undergraduate programs in 14 different departments in this semester. EWU arranged the reception program for the newly admitted students. The objective of the program was to welcome new students and introduce them to university facilities, faculty members, the academic system and the rules and regulations of the institution.
The program was attended by M A Mannan, MP, Honorable Planning Minister, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser, EWU and Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Prof. Dr. M.M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University.
Speakers welcomed the Fresher's to the EWU and encouraged them to prepare themselves for the welfare of the country and countrymen by the spirit of Ekushey. In addition, they urged to prepare to build himself as a good citizen and future entrepreneur of the country by utilizing the academic life of the university through hard perseverance. Faculty members and officials of EWU also participated in the program.
