Meeting with the Faculty Members of the Department of Information Studies and Library Management (ISLM) of East West University

The IQAC organized a webinar meeting with all the faculty members of the Department of Information Studies and Library Management (ISLM) of East West University on 4 April 2021 at 7:30 pm. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the status of course learning outcomes, alignment with program outcomes, and the criteria of outcome-based education (OBE) of the department of Information Studies and Library Management (ISLM). Professor Dr. Basanta Kumar Barmon, Director of IQAC gave a brief talk on the process and implementation of outcome-based education, curriculum development, Blooms Taxonomy, domains of learning and student assessment and the templates of OBE provided the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. The participants discussed the problems and possible solutions regarding OBE in their department. The meeting was interactive, and the participants enjoyed and learned a lot throughout the meeting. Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson, and the faculty members of the Department of ISLM thanked IQAC for organizing this type of meeting and suggested to arrange similar meeting in the future.
