East West University Telecommunications Club has successfully hosted "The Royal Hat Presents National Telco Warfare 2024," proudly powered by Flight Expert. The two-day event, held on December 26 and December 27, brought together over 500 participants from across Bangladesh, including representation from more than 10 universities. The event provided a dynamic platform for students and professionals to engage with cutting-edge technology and the rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape. For the first time at East West University, competitions like Data War and Network War were introduced, offering participants an exciting opportunity to demonstrate their data analysis and network problem-solving expertise. Segments such as Tele War, Q War, and the highly anticipated G-War (featuring Valorant, e-Football, and FC24) captured the enthusiasm and competitive spirit of the participants. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. Maheen Islam, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the event concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, presided over by Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik. The club moderators, Professor Dr. Shamim H. Ripon and Md. Khalid Mahbub Khan, played pivotal roles in ensuring the seamless execution of the event. The special guest was Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and highlighted the value of such initiatives.
National Telco Warfare 2024 set an innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence benchmark. Participants left with a sense of achievement, having had the opportunity to network with peers, showcase their talents, and gain recognition on a national stage.
