Participation of Consulting Workshop on “Rules of Accreditation, Accreditation Committee and Appeal”

The Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) organized a day-long consultation workshop on “Rules of Accreditation, Accreditation Committee and Appeal” on 12 February 2020 at BAC Conference Room, Mohakhali, Dhaka. Professor Dr. Basanta Kumar Barmon, Director, IQAC of East West University was attended in the workshop. A total of 45 Directors of IQAC from different public and private universities of Bangladesh enthusiastically participated in the workshop. Professor S M Kabir and Professor Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, member of the Bangladesh Accreditation Council, briefly presented the topic entitle “Draft Rules on Accreditation” and “Draft Rules on Accreditation Committee & Appeal”, respectively. Professor Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Chairman of the BAC, chaired the event. The participants of the workshop shared their views and opinions about the rules of accreditation, and accreditation committee and appeal that will help to implement it in the universities.
