East West University Telecommunications Club Organized a virtual seminar on “Information Security Awareness”. This program was held on 16th July 8.00pm-9.45pm. Our seminar Guest Speaker was -

Former Unit In-Charge Information Security BRAC Bank Limited.
And Our Special Guest was-
Md. Sharif Ul Hassan
Consultant, ADB.
Information security awareness is an evolving part of information security that focuses on raising consciousness regarding potential risks of the rapidly evolving forms of Information. Positive, aware and well-trained members of staff are a key part of ensuring that we protect the crucial intellectual assets of our organization, confidential information, relationships and reputation.
This virtual seminar aims to aware the participants the basics of Information Security like – cyber security, processes, confidential matters, and systems to extract insights from data.
We opened this virtual seminar for all the students of East West University. The students who wanted to join the seminar did online registration because the seat was limited for the betterment of the seminar. Almost 50 participants participate in this seminar. We limited the seat because instructor wanted to communicate with all and make sure of everyone’s learning.
