Training Need Assessment (TNA) Workshop for Certificate Courses in Leather, Leather Goods and Footwear Sector

The Executive Development Center (EDC) at East West University (EWU) organized a Training Need Assessment (TNA) Workshop on May 11, 2024. This workshop aimed to design new certificate courses for the Leather, Leather Goods, and Footwear sectors as part of the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP).
The event saw the participation of key figures from SICIP, including the Executive Program Director, Internal Control Specialist, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, Deputy Executive Program Director, and Assistant Executive Program Director. Industry experts, faculty members, graduates of the GDLFM program, and EDC members also attended the session.
During the workshop, the attendees shared valuable insights and suggestions for enhancing the course content. The discussions emphasized the need for courses on International Market Analysis, Innovation and Compliance, Green Business Practices, Climate Change Adaptation and Sustainability, Total Quality Management, Language and Communication Skills, Buyer Relations, and Commercial Management.
