Webinar Orientation Program on “Teaching Learning Methods and Practices” on 19-20 March 2021

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of East West University (EWU) organized a virtual orientation on “Teaching Learning Methods and Practices” on 19th - 20th March 2021. The participants were eleven newly joined faculty members of Spring and Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. Honorable Vice Chancellor and Chairperson of Quality Assurance Cell (QAC), Professor Dr. M.M. Shahidul Hassan shared his valuable insights on “How Universities can Improve Student Satisfaction and Quality of Learning?”. He emphasized on educator’s and administrator’s role in ensuring student’s satisfaction. Succeeding that Pro-Vice Chancellor gave his precious speech on “Quality Teaching in Higher education”.
Professor Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Dean of Faculty of Sciences and Engineering, Professor Dr. Anup Chowdhury, Dean of Faculty of Business and Economics and Dr. Fouzia Mannan, Dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences discussed about the Service Rules, Administrative Rules and Career Path of EWU faculty members respectively.
Professor Dr. A. K. Enamul Haque, Dept. of Economics, Professor Dr. Anisul Haque and Professor Dr. Khairul Alam from Dept. of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) further facilitated the webinar by providing invaluable inputs on various aspect of university education. Director of IQAC chaired the program and Professor Dr. Basanta Kumar Barmon expressed his immense gratitude to all the involved contributors. Fariza Binte Mahbub Lecturer, Dept. of Business Administration anchored the event.
