East west University Environmental & Social Club Organized a Victory Ride 2021


East West University Environmental & Social Club (EWUESC) organized a victory ride on 24th December 2021 to create awareness about bicycle riding. This ride took place on 24th December by keeping our victory day in mind, where 260 bicycle riders covered some areas of Dhaka city. The reporting time of the ride was 7 AM. The ride started on 7.30 AM. It has covered:

EastWestUniversity →Rampura→MogBazerl→Kawran Bazar→Panthpoth→ Kalabagan/32→ Dhanmonddi 27→ Manik Mia Avenue→ Bijoy Shoroni→ Mohakhali →Gulshan1→ Police Plaza→ Merul→ Link Road→ East West University→ Aftabnagar these areas. The Ride became more joyous with the attendance of some renowned cyclist of -Dhaka South Cyclist.

ESC was very grateful and honored to Transcom Beverage for their Beverage partner, veloce and Meghna group for their T-shirt partner, Better life hospital for Media assistance partner, Matrix Dresses Ltd for their mask partner and Channel 24 was for media partner.

This ride enabled them to make people realize that bicycle riding can be exciting. It can also be considered as one of the important mediums of exercise. At the same time bicycles are an eco-friendly way of transportation because it does not pollute the environment.

Since its founding in October 1999, the East West University Environmental and Social Group has  been a notable and youth-friendly club dedicated to ensuring society's happiness. This club has been pursuing its motto, "SAVE LIFE, SAVE EARTH," through various environmental and social actions since its founding. For the past 21 years, it has been active in social support programs such as the rehabilitation of the poor, the exploration of new generation abilities, the encouragement of youth in afforestation, community building, and so on.
