EWU Rotaract Club arranged Winter Smile Fair 5.0
Like every year, Rotaract Club of East West University has arranged Winter Smile Fair for the fifth time in a row these years. The core purpose of Winter Smile Fair 5.0 is to help winter affected people by distributing blankets and warm clothes. RACEWU collected donations and used warm clothes from club members and other students of university. This year Rotaract Club of East West University were able to distribute 560 blankets 450 warm used cloths with contribution from Rotary Club of Dhaka North and First Security Islami Bank Limited.
This year blankets and clothes were distributed in some rural part of Kushtia where the winter hits badly every year and also a small part in Dhaka. Most of the donation was in old age home, Orphanage and towards needy peoples. Rotaract Club of East West University has always thrived to serve the community and will continue to do so.
The project was held in the following different Venues.
On 30th December :
1. RC Dhaka North Eye Hospital kushtia - 300 Blankets + Clothes
2. Madrasah+ Orphanage (Kushtia) - 50 Blankets
On 31th December :
1. Justice Radhabinod Pal School (Kushtia) - 100 Blankets + Clothes
2. Roadside unprivileged people (Kushtia) - 50 Blankets
On 9th January :
1. Children of Madrasah (Dhaka) - 50 Blankets
2. Needy Rickshaw Puller (Dhaka) - 10 Blankets + Clothes
