East West University Holds Faculty Excellence at TLR-3 Certificate Awarding Ceremony

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of East West University (EWU) hosted the Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the Teachers’ Training Program on Teaching, Learning, and Research (TLR-3) on 26 February 2026, held at the S. M. Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery of EWU. The event celebrated the completion of a rigorous professional development initiative and the research expertise of the university’s academic staff.
The program started with a welcome address by Professor Ahmed Wasif Reza, Additional Director of IQAC, and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. During the formal distribution, certificates were awarded to 32 participants from 10 different departments, marking their dedication to educational quality. The ceremony included an insightful experience-sharing session in which participants, including Puja Chakraborty, Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering, and Shaikh Mirazur Rahman, Lecturer in Law, discussed the program's practical benefits, ranging from modern classroom management to advanced research methodologies.
The ceremony culminated in a keynote address by Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor of EWU, who congratulated the graduates and emphasized that the ultimate success of the TLR-3 program lies in the enhanced learning experience for the students. He reaffirmed EWU’s commitment to fostering an innovative environment in which high-impact research and excellence in teaching remain the university’s core priorities. Among others, Air Cdre (retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer, and senior faculty members of the university attended the program.
