Workshop on Professional Development Training for Messenger

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of East West University (EWU) has organized workshop on “Professional Development” containing “Manner, Etiquette, Behavior and Responsibilities, Duties and Responsibilities, Office and Time Management, Workload and Stress and Raising Awareness of Sexual Harassment” for messengers of all academic programs and administrative departments on 10 November 2025 and 15 December 2025. On 10 November, the inaugural session of the workshop was opened with a welcome address from Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering and Additional Director of the IQAC. Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, the Vice Chancellor of EWU, also honored the program with his presence and gave an inspirational and motivational speech, which acknowledged the duties and responsibilities of messengers towards EWU.
On 15 December, the inaugural session began with a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Basanta Kumar Barmon, the Additional Director of IQAC. The sessions on both days were conducted by Prof. Dr. Farhana Ferdousi, Chairperson, Dept. of Business Administration, and Dr. Mumita Tanjeela, Associate Professor, Dept. of Sociology. Their interactive and insightful sessions actively engaged the participants throughout the two-day workshop. Eventually, the concluding session featured an interactive Q&A session with participation from all 73 messengers attending the workshop. Dr. Barmon, the Additional Director of IQAC, who coordinated the entire two-day workshop, concluded the session by expressing his profound gratitude to the esteemed resource person, all attendees, and IQAC support staff, whose dedicated contribution ensured the workshop’s comprehensive success.
