East West University Celebrates the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh

East West University (EWU) celebrated the 50th National Victory Day of Bangladesh and the Golden Jubilee of the country. EWU family paid homage and tribute to the valiant freedom fighters and millions of Martyrs, who shed their lives for making Bangladesh a free nation. The National Flag was hoisted in the front of EWU ‘Shaheed Minar’ premises at 6:34 a.m.. A special “Munajat” was offered for peace and prosperity of the country on 16 December 2021 morning at EWU Campus, Aftabnagar, Dhaka. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the University celebrated the day of maintaining the health safety guidelines.
Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser of EWU, Founder, Vice Chancellor of EWU and former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Professor Dr. M. M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Deans, Faculty Members, Students, Officers, and Staff of the university were present on the occasion.
In addition, EWU clubs have also celebrated “Bijoy Dibosh of Bangladesh” at EWU Campus. They organized eleven different programs for celebrating the festival of the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh. The programs included Cultural Function, Debate Competition, Picture Exhibition, Programming Contest, Cycle Riding etc.
