IQAC Arranges a Training Program to Enhance Teaching, Learning, and Research

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the Center for Research & Training (CRTEWU) of East West University (EWU) inaugurated a comprehensive training program focused on enhancing teaching methodologies, learning strategies, and research capabilities. The program is specifically designed for Senior Lecturers and Lecturers of the university.
The inaugural ceremony took place at the S.M. Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery at the EWU campus on 24 April 2025. Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, the Vice Chancellor of EWU, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Sufia Islam, Director of IQAC, and Professor Dr. Muhammed Shahriar Haque, Executive Director of CRTEWU, were also present, highlighting the university's commitment to faculty development.
In his address, Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor, offered insightful and practical guidance to the participating faculty members on effective teaching approaches and impactful research practices. He passionately encouraged the new faculty members to deeply engage with their academic pursuits and dedicate themselves to their research endeavors, emphasizing the crucial role of both teaching and research in the university's mission.
Further attendees included Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering and Additional Director of IQAC, EWU, Dr. Basanta Kumar Barmon, Additional Director of IQAC, EWU, along with faculty members and IQAC officials of the university.
