CRTEWU Hosts A Seminar on Deep Learning for Renewable Energy Management in Microgrids

The Center for Research and Training East West University (CRTEWU) successfully organized a research seminar titled “Deep Learning Based Energy Management System for Microgrid with Renewable Energy Sources: A Case Study for Saint Martin Island” on April 23, 2025, at the CRTEWU Seminar Room, East West University (EWU).
The seminar featured a compelling presentation by Dr. Ratul Hasnat, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at East West University. Dr. Hasnat shared his insightful research on leveraging deep learning techniques to optimize energy management within microgrids, specifically focusing on the integration of renewable energy sources.
The presentation was followed by a stimulating discussion led by Dr. Anisul Haque, Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at East West University. Dr. Haque offered valuable perspectives and engaged with the audience on the practical implications and future directions of the research.
Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury, Chairperson of CRTEWU, presided over the program, providing insightful remarks and fostering a vibrant intellectual exchange. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Shahriar Haque, Executive Director of CRTEWU, was also present, along with other esteemed faculty members, enthusiastic students, and dedicated administrative staff from CRTEWU.
