EWUCRT Hosts 147th EWUCRT Research Seminar on Campus Health Promotion

The East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) hosted its 147th research seminar on November 5, 2026, at the EWUCRT Seminar Room. The seminar, titled "Health promotion at the university level in Bangladesh: a case from EWU," presented findings from a collaborative study conducted by faculty members of the Department of Social Relations at East West University (EWU). The research team comprised Dr. Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan, Professor; Dr. Marzia Zaman Sultana, Senior Lecturer; Mr. Quazi Maksudur Rahman, Lecturer; and Ms. Rubayat Kabir, Senior Lecturer.
The session was chaired by Professor Dr. M. Ashik Mosaddik, Acting Vice Chancellor of East West University. Formal proceedings opened with welcome remarks delivered by Professor Dr. Md. Sohel Rana, Executive Director of EWUCRT. Following the main presentation, Professor Dr. Md. Aminul Haque from the Department of Population Sciences, University of Dhaka, served as the key discussant, offering critical commentary and contextual insights into institutional health strategies.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, engaging an audience of EWU faculty members, researchers, students, and EWUCRT officials.
