10 years celebration of EWU Agro Industrialization Club: “FSIBL Agro Talk 2021”

To commemorate East West University Agro Industrialization Club’s 10-year anniversary the club organized an online event: “FSIBL Agro Talk 2021”powered by First Security Islami Bank Limited, a series of agro webinars and young agro entrepreneur’s recognition event. The event was dedicated to the centennial birth anniversary of the founding leader of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The event began with the first episode of the webinar series: “Importance of developing appropriate brand elements for agro-based products" on 24th April, 8.00 PM. The session was conducted by S M Didarul Hasan who is currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of M.M Ispahani Limited. The webinar was extensively designed with a view to cover various aspects of developing brand elements for agro-based products. He also tried to demonstrate real-life examples and case studies regarding the development of brand elements.

MD. Mahadi Faisal, The head of business (Fresh produce) of ACI logistics was the facilitator of the second webinar that took place online on 27th April. The topic of the webinar was "Possibilities surrounding Agro Industrialization sector". Carrying a bucket full of lifelong experience, the speaker shared lots of valuable information regarding the agro-industry. In his discussion, he had explained- the history, the drawback, the positivity of agro-industry and some recent scenarios.. In his speech he was quoted saying, “When young educated people will step up to work with this industry, we can produce a lot more than we are producing right now.”

 On its 10th year celebration, East-west University Agro Industrialization Club has decided to honor three young agro entrepreneurs for their contribution to the agriculture sector.
