The 16th National Annual Quality Convention on Education (NAQCE-2026) Held at East West University

The Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM), in collaboration with East West University (EWU), hosted the 16th National Annual Quality Convention on Education (NAQCE-2026) on 3 October 2026 at the EWU campus in Aftabnagar, Dhaka. Academic leaders, students, and quality management professionals from across Bangladesh attended the day-long convention.
The inaugural session began with a welcome address by the Convener, Mr. Md. Nuruzzaman Talukdar, Vice President of BSTQM. The keynote speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Khandoker Mahmudur Rahman, Professor at the School of Business and Economics, United International University. Mr. A M M Khairul Bashar, Adviser of BSTQM, also addressed the gathering. Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at EWU, attended the inaugural session as the Chief Guest and delivered his address. The session concluded with remarks by Mr. A K M Shamsul Huda, President of BSTQM.
The day's activities showcased active participation from students and academics in Case Study Presentations, a Poster Competition, and a Quality Quiz Competition. Following a break, participants attended an insightful panel discussion focusing on quality enhancement in education.
The convention concluded with feedback presentations and addresses by distinguished guests, including Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering at EWU; Mr. M M Kabir, Secretary General of BSTQM; and Mr. A K M Shamsul Huda, President of BSTQM. Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor of EWU, attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and delivered his address. He subsequently presided over the Prize-Giving Ceremony, where awards were presented to the winners of the various competitions.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Dr. A F M Nazmus Sadat, Chairman of the Education Committee and Joint Secretary of BSTQM. A large number of students from various educational institutions attended the convention, making the event a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and experiences related to quality enhancement in education.
