Chief Adviser of EWU Honored with Life Time Award in Education

Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser and Founder, Vice Chancellor of East West University (EWU) has been honored with a Life Time Award in Education. The award was given by the Bangladesh Student Welfare Trust for his outstanding work in the higher education sector. The ceremony was held on 14 May 2019 at the Nabab Nawab Ali Sinet Bhaban in the University of Dhaka. The award was handed over by Deputy Speaker of the Bangladesh National Parliament, Advocate Fazle Rabbi Miah MP. Mr. Fazle Rabbi Miah expressed his delight at awarding the crest to his former teacher Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin.
Among others, Professor Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahamed, Vice Chancellor, Sher-E-Bangla Agriculture University, Professor Dr. Md. Alauddin, Vice Chancellor, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, and Professor Dr. A B M Rashedul Hassan, Vice Chancellor, Exim Bank Agriculture University were present on the occasion. The program was chaired by Lieutenant Colonel. (Rtd.) Abu Osman Chowdhury, Sector Commander of Bangladesh, and Executive Director of Bangladesh Student Welfare Trust.
