Department of Information Studies Hosts 'Pitha Utsob' at EWU Campus

The Department of Information Studies of East West University (EWU) celebrated a delightful "Pitha Utsob" on January 31, 2024, at the Carrer Counselling Centre Lobby, located on the EWU Campus in Aftabnagar, Dhaka. The event commenced with a ceremonial cake cutting by Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of EWU.
Students from various academic years, the department's Chairperson, faculty members, and staff contributed an array of delicious Pithas, all prepared by their own hands. Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson of the Department of Information Studies, personally served freshly made "Vapa Pitha" during the festivities.
Air Commodore (Retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer of EWU, along with faculty members, section heads, and other officers, graced the occasion with their presence. Over 200 participants relished the jovial and recreational atmosphere of the event.
