EWU students extended their commitments to fight against corruption

Aiming to sensitize students against corruption, Anti-Corruption Cartoon Exhibition was held at East West University (EWU) campus on 18 December 2024. The Youth Engagement & Support (YES) Club of East West University, a club of EWU students operated by the support of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), organized the daylong exhibition and different anti-corruption games at the Wi-Fi Zone of the university.

The Pro-Vice Chancellor of EWU Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik along with the Treasurer Air Cdre (Retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury inaugurated the event at the morning accompanied by the Adviser of the EWU Career Counseling Center (CCC) and the Adviser of the YES Club Engineer Kamrul Hassan.

Hundreds of students enjoyed the displayed anti-corruption cartoons and participated in games to extend their pledge against corruption. EWU students expressed their commitments to fight against corruption at their personal and professional life. Members of the YES club also oriented students on the Right to Information Act, 2009 and distributed leaflets & stickers on the issue. Around a hundred students shown interests to join the YES club at the campaign.
