Freshers Reception Program for Summer Semester 2021 held at EWU

The orientation program for the newly admitted students for the Summer Semester 2021 of East West University (EWU) held on the Zoom platform on Thursday, 17 June 2021. Nearly 1000 students were admitted to graduate and undergraduate programs in
different departments this semester. The objective of the program was to welcome new students and introduce them to university facilities, faculty members, the academic system and the rules and regulations of the institution.
The program was attended by Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus, Principal Secretary of Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser and the founder Vice Chancellor of EWU Chaired the Program. Prof. Dr. M.M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor, EWU and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro Vice Chancellor, EWU also spoke on the orientation program.
On the occasion, Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus said to the newcomers, Set your dream and be ready to fulfill that dream, not just for the position. At the same time, he called for working for the welfare of the country and peoples. Prof. Dr. Farasuddin advised the new students to prepare themselves to become future entrepreneurs to take the country's economy more forward. Members of the Board of Trustees, Faculty members and officials of EWU also participated in the program.
