Innovate and Inspire: EWURC Robotors Reunion

Feb 26, 2023

East West University Robotics Club held its highly anticipated reunion "Innovate and Inspire: EWURC Robotors Reunion" on February 24, 2023, at The Wind Lounge in Rampura, Dhaka, attended by 69 members. The respective moderators of EWURC, Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza and Lecturer Md Al-Imran, as well as the founder President Abdullah Al Mamun, General Secretary Yeasir Abed Khan, Coordinator Mohammad Jamshed, and Immediate Past President Md. Faizur Rahman graced the event with their speeches, adding to its grandeur.

The primary goal of the event was to facilitate networking among the club members, including both current students and alumni of the university. The event commenced at approximately 2:00 PM, and following lunch, alumni conversed about how their experiences in the club have influenced their career paths and helped them achieve success in their respective fields. The alumni also talked about how the soft skills they learned, such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, have been instrumental in their professional lives. The speeches aimed to motivate and inspire the current students to continue pursuing their passion for robotics and to remind them of the invaluable skills and knowledge they gained through their involvement in the club.

Moreover, the alumni highlighted the importance of staying connected to the university and its community, even after graduating. They encouraged current students to take advantage of networking opportunities and to stay in touch with their professors and peers after graduation.

The program concluded with a delightful cake-cutting ceremony, a photo session to capture memorable moments, and participants were gifted tokens of appreciation for their attendance. Overall, the reunion was a great success, leaving the participants feeling reconnected and energized.
