RESEARCH SEMINAR ON “DEVELOPING AN ALUMNI PROFILE FOR EAST WEST UNIVERSITY”

East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) organized an online research seminar titled “Developing an Alumni profile for East West University” held on 26th December 2020, Saturday at 8:00PM. The presenters of the seminar were Dr. A. M. Tanvir Hussain, Associate Professor, Ms. Asiya Siddica, Senior Lecturer and Mr. Estiaque Bari, Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics, East West University. The seminar was attended by Chief Advisor, Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin (Founder Vice Chancellor, EWU), Nowshad Shamsul Arefin (Member, Board of Trustees, EWU), Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun (Pro-Vice Chancellor, EWU), and Dr. A. K. Enamul Haque (Professor, Department of Economics). Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury (Chairperson, EWUCRT) conducted the seminar where Dr. Anisul Haque (Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, EEE) and Dr. Farhana Ferdousi (Chairperson and Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration) were the key discussants. Distinguish faculty members from various departments of the university were also present. 

The seminar started with introductory remarks by Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury and a brief note of acknowledgement provided by Dr. A. M. Tanvir Hussain (on behalf of the research team). The researchers highlighted the importance of creating alumni profile for EWU and presented statistical analysis from the completed study. The researchers discussed findings related to the performance of EWU alumni by faculty over the years. The key discussants also agreed that this research would be of great importance to EWU moving forward. Lastly the floor was open for discussion and invited guests provided their valuable comments on the research outcomes.
