"Well-being of Mental Health" organized by Rotaract Club of East west University

"Well-being of Mental Health" was a seminar arranged by the Rotaract club of East West University on 18th October 2022 at Lecture gallery #550. The keynote speaker of the seminar was Dr. Sayedul Ashraf Kushal, Lead Psychiatrist and Managing Director of Life Spring Limited and Dr. Sabbir Hasan Likhon, former radio broadcaster of 89.6 FM, Dentist, Tv Actor & Anchor was also as the guest speaker of this seminar. The speakers talked about depression, anxiety, anger management, and other contemporary mental health issues that mostly university students face. It was a houseful program with an audience of more than 170 people. The crowd of attendees in the seminar itself showed the demand of this seminar.
The program was dedicated to the late President Syad Arif Ahmed who committed suicide due to depression. In that situation, RAC EWU hoped that students would be more aware about mental health as they do not want to lose any fellows due to suicide. The club also advertised about the permanent Socio-Psyche Counselling Center under the Department of Students Welfare for the students of East west University in the regular basis.
